I really liked the hotel's calm, minimalist feel and the helpful staff. My room was roomy, with a proper dressing table and a huge tub that was great for a soak. The gym isn't large, but it had everything I needed for a decent workout, and I used it a few times. I tried the Japanese breakfast on my last day and would recommend it. The location is peaceful but handy, with several subway lines right below, restaurants nearby, and an airport bus that goes straight to the hotel.

The sunrise from our upgraded room was unforgettable, and the view was probably the best in all of Tokyo. We were given the upgrade at no charge, which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are spacious and peaceful, and the whole hotel is beautifully kept and spotless. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the restaurants too. Several metro stations are just steps away, with taxis always available at the entrance. Staff were exceptionally polite, professional, and attentive. They remembered details, kept everything straight, and were always on time. We were completely delighted with our stay and can't wait to return.

The Japanese-style breakfast was the best I had on my trip around Japan, and the room was spacious and very quiet. The lobby and check-in space felt a little cramped and claustrophobic, which took the edge off an otherwise great impression. I booked through the Amex FHR portal. The property is officially part of THC, but in my view it definitely deserves FHR status.
10/10
A very good find in Tokyo, in a wonderful location. My two gripes: the mattress felt really hard by Western standards, and a memory foam topper would help. Also, there are very few English options on the TV. In 2025 I'd expect Chromecast or smart features so I could use my own account to watch Netflix and other shows while abroad. Apart from that, it's a superb hotel.

Right in central Tokyo, The Capitol Hotel Tokyu combines modern Japanese design with a peaceful luxury feel and top-tier service. It makes for an exceptional stay whether you're traveling for business or leisure. 👍
