There’s no closet for hanging clothes, so bring that in mind if you pack a lot. Otherwise, this was a great place for either a short visit or a longer stay. I spent a month here and would absolutely stay again. It’s peaceful, roomy, and has plenty of parking. The host and owner were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, and responded quickly and proactively to questions and requests. There’s fast internet, a full-sized fridge, a powerful shower with plenty of hot water, and lots of outdoor space. The countryside setting is charming, yet city conveniences are only a short drive away. Walkers and runners can take country roads through farmland toward hills, shrines, and the bay. It’s also a great commute location for anyone working in the Kin area. Just across the street, a small farm stand has fresh vegetables and fruit that change every 2-3 days, and there are a couple of small restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended as a peaceful Okinawa base for exploring the incredible scenery in the north and central parts of the island.
