The café is really just a place for guests to eat their own food; they don’t serve meals there. Breakfast is a bento, so keep expectations low. It’s free, though, so I guess that’s fine. A convenience store is right across the street. The station is about a seven-minute walk, and we didn’t mind doing that with our luggage.

The rest of the hotel was okay, but the room where you can eat is only for food you bring yourself. They don’t sell anything there. Also, it closes before midnight. At 23:00 they make you leave, even if you’re still eating and haven’t finished, and there’s no sign saying it closes at 23:00 or giving any other warning.

The station is a 15-minute walk away, which is a good location. But at over £100 a night, I expected more. The beds are small, there were stains everywhere, and I found hairs in the bed. The help desk wouldn’t even give us one extra pillow. If that sounds appealing, go ahead and book.

The dehumidifiers ran all night and were a bit noisy. I also noticed they charge ¥9000 for lost keycards, which seems excessive. Cleanliness is as other people have mentioned, but for £45 for two nights, I was fine with it. The location was great value, the staff were nice, and the room had a fridge, microwave, and the usual things.

They let me leave my luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which I appreciated. The rooms were clean, and I really liked the hotel.
