The rooms are small, as is typical for Livemax. They also won’t keep your luggage before check-in, so plan for that. When I arrived, the South Asian man at reception had such a strong accent in both English and Japanese that I could barely understand him.
10/10
There are only five rooms on each floor, which made it feel like a nice-sized place. The staff were friendly, and they had pyjamas in the room. The beds were comfortable, softer than at some other places, and the two small doubles fit two adults and our 8-year-old easily. It’s also close to the station.

The location is the best part. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the station, and I stayed here before catching a flight from Chubu the next morning. From Kanayama station there’s a direct route to Chubu airport, which made that convenient. The room was a bit small, but clean, with standard facilities.
8/10
Small room, but it was tidy. The location was great.

I paid through Booking.com, and they cancelled my reservation afterward. 😕🤷🏻♀️
