Nagoya B's Hotel

The hotel made a difficult stretch of our trip much easier. Our daughter picked up a stomach bug somewhere else, so we had to stay in more than planned, and the staff were really accommodating. The onsen was great, though the men's bath got busy; those massage chairs were bliss. Breakfast filled me up, and there was coffee and tea in the lobby, plus laundry, spare pillows, and filtered hot and cold water in the halls. I didn't try the gym, but it looked adequate. We had a relaxing stay, with no major complaints.

I had to change rooms because sharing one of the small ones with my dad just wasn't workable. Two bed rooms are available, though I didn't see them as an option when I first booked. The hotel is close to a subway station, with a convenience store right by the entrance. The second floor has a Japanese-style room for relaxing, a gym, free massage chairs, and a really nice hot spring bath.

We slept really well, and the room fitted both of us and all our things just fine. Breakfast was included, with tasty soup and crisp pastries. The staff were helpful throughout, even lending us umbrellas when it rained. The hotel is in central Nagoya and has a gym, onsen, and spa, along with everything we needed in the room and good wifi. A lovely, well-run place for a few days in the city. I'd stay again.

The little breakfast selection of pastries, soup, and coffee wasn't very filling, but for the room price it still felt like a spectacular deal. I'd happily come back to Nagoya B’s Hotel. The guest room was clean and well kept, though a bit retro and small, and you can pick your own pillow. I spent more than two hours in the B’s Salon and had to leave when it closed at 1 am. It's not huge, but there's a lot packed in: sento pools, saunas, bedrock bath rooms, massage chairs, a manga room, gym, internet counter, and mini pantry. Honestly, if you're checking in after dinner, that spa might make you want to stay in. The hotel sits on Nishiki-Dori (Road), between two major subway stations, though it's a bit of a walk from either. Fushimi Station can also be confusing to navigate if you're arriving by subway. There’s a shuttle service to Nagoya Station.
