Nagoya Crown Hotel

The onsen tubs were a big plus, and breakfast was amazing!!! The building is old, but the rooms have been completely renovated and are very clean. It's a typical Japanese business hotel, so the bed is hard. The foreign staff from Nepal were VERY friendly and polite. I appreciate them coming to Japan to work in hospitality. I only wish there had been coffee in the room, or a coffee machine like some other business hotels have.

The rooms feel old and seem to have had only small updates for modern travelers, but that never caused me trouble. Since the rates are cheap, I think it's great value. The room size is what you'd expect at a Japanese business hotel, and the location, staff, and on-site hot spring bath were all great.

The hotel is beautiful and the location worked well, within walking distance of the science museum and places to eat. But the triple room felt quite small, and the bathroom was small too.

The onsen and breakfast buffet are the main reasons I'd return, and the low price made the hotel a really good deal. My room was small, but clean and decent. The washroom felt cramped, and the bed and pillows could've been more comfortable. Even though I'd booked a non-smoking room, there was still a slight smoky smell.
