R&B Hotel Nagoya-Ekimae

For weekends, it seems fine if the price is under 10,000¥. The location is good and the room was big enough, with modern hardware. Service was just okay, nothing beyond what I expected. Check-in could be better. They handle each guest manually, one at a time, and I wonder why they don’t have self-service kiosks.

The room was generally in good condition, and the hotel is fairly close to Nagoya Station, which made getting around convenient. When I checked in, I appreciated that they had kept our luggage for us. The male front desk employee from Nepal was kind and spoke English well. I’d booked two rooms. There were some confusing, unpleasant issues with the hotel during the post-booking confirmation, and although they were resolved, the experience still left me puzzled and a little uncomfortable. That part was disappointing.

We traveled as a couple and were impressed by how clean the hotel was and the attention to detail. The staff were friendly and ready to help with questions or requests. Breakfast was included, with a range of options. R&B Nagoyaekimae is convenient for getting around, just a short walk from the main station, so it’s easy to explore the city and beyond. The room had modern amenities and a cozy feel, making it a comfortable place to rest. A good choice for both business and leisure trips to Nagoya.

We chose the hotel just because it was close to the Zepp Theater, and I’d definitely stay again. The room was small, as usual in Japan, but clean and just right. The staff were the best part. The three girls at the desk were welcoming, sweet, and so helpful. Every time we came back after going out, it felt like coming home. Everyone was fantastic.
