Vacation Rent Kanayama

The bathroom was really nice, and we had a great stay after booking through Airbnb. The beds were on the firm side, with just one pillow, so that might suit younger guests or anyone who likes a hard bed. Using the card key made me nervous because I worried I might deactivate it. In the end, leaving it in the locker whenever we went out worked fine.

The bus stop is within walking distance, and there’s a bus that goes to Ueno Station. The room had two double beds, which blocked access to the closet. They provided plates and cups, but no cutlery, and there weren’t any cooking utensils either.

The air conditioning was good, and the washing machine handled a family of four pretty well. The beds were nice too, though I really wanted more pillows. It would help to have some cleaning supplies and more counter space in the bathroom. After the workers finished fixing our place, they should’ve taken their supplies with them. A shoehorn would be useful too, since my dad can’t bend down much.

It’s a little out of town, but getting around by taxi was no problem. The place was super clean and tidy, and I was really impressed by the amenities.
