Really disappointing. The storm kept me from checking in, and even though I messaged ahead, I didn't get a refund. They didn't reply to my message until the day I was meant to check in.

They had the air conditioning running before I arrived, which I appreciated. The room was fairly clean and came with the basic amenities. It's a little far from the station, but I'd recommend it if that doesn't bother you.

When I got to the website address at 3pm, nobody was there, even though reception was meant to start then. They told me to pay at another location, 600 metres away, where reception didn't begin until 4pm. The website should list that reception address too. I spotted the TORIFITO HOTEL on the way and switched to it. GEOGE HOUSE TSUJI is a terrible hotel.

Everything was fine, and it's a lovely hotel. The only trouble I had was figuring out how to use the key box.

For what I needed, just a shower and somewhere to sleep, it was perfect. There's a convenience store nearby, and Wakasa and Kumoji are only a short walk away. I met the staff when I checked out; they were friendly and polite.
