Grace Naha - Hostel

The price makes it worthwhile if you just need somewhere to sleep. It's a good location, walkable to Kokusai Street, and the room has a TV, fridge, and hangers. Towels, toothpaste, and a razor are provided, while the shared shower has shampoo with conditioner and body wash. There's also a hair dryer in the shared bathroom. I did miss having tissues. The room is small and not very clean, though it's cheap.

The location was the one good thing for me. My room was right by the toilet and sink, so people were constantly passing by and it got noisy. The door seemed to be thin wood with gaps, offering no soundproofing. I couldn't sleep, and ended up going out to buy earplugs.

For 3000 yen, this was a very reasonable deal. In Naha city, that price usually gets you a dorm bed rather than a private room. Kokusai Street is only about a 5-6 minute walk away, handy for sightseeing, and the building is a little off the main shopping area, so noise wasn't an issue. The room is small but fine for sleeping, and the shared toilet and shower were clean. The sliding door between rooms could be noisy when the next room opened or closed theirs.

The room was quiet enough for me to sleep well. It's a simple setup, so keep your expectations in check, and the toilets and showers are shared. Still, getting a private room for dormitory-level pricing is nice. It's near the prefectural office and under a five-minute walk from Kokusai Street.
