The rooms are clean, reasonably priced, and feel like private lodging operating with a hotel license. The large TV had free Netflix, which was nice, and the interior and facilities have been renovated and kept up well. You can see the neighboring building’s wall from the window, but that was fine for an overnight stay. Most basic fixtures are provided. The bathroom was my main issue. It’s a very small three-piece unit shared with the toilet, with a tiny seat and no heated seat or washlet. I wish the toilet were separate, with a normal-sized heated seat, and that there were room to wash outside the bathtub. Without a washlet, it’s tough these days. The building seems to be an older reinforced-concrete apartment that’s been renovated. It’s within walking distance of Kokusai Street, and works well if you’re driving, but the nearby roads are narrow. The parking lots have maximum fees, though they’re small too. If you’re renting a car and aren’t confident driving, I’d avoid this area. There’s a convenience store and supermarket within walking distance, though neither is especially close. The property is entirely unmanned. That should be fine if you’re used to using a smartphone, but could be tricky for someone less comfortable with technology.
