The pool was closed during our three-day stay, though there are nice city views from the seating area on the top floor. The room was very clean and spacious enough. There are two dining spots: the ground-floor one is bigger and has a few more options, while the smaller top-floor restaurant is quieter and has slightly less to choose from.

The bed was hard enough to leave my body hurting, even though the room itself was spacious enough and otherwise okay. Breakfast had lots of variety, but I didn’t find it good. It seems they don’t have a chef, and serve easy, instant things. The hotel is at the edge of kokusai dori, so it’s a bit of a walk to the center. Just a normal hotel for an average price.

We checked three rooms, and each had visible dirt or stains. The elevators were dirty too, with greasy marks on the walls and no vacuuming. Breakfast wasn’t good, and the water tasted like fish. The staff were very helpful and tried to accommodate us despite all of that, and they reimbursed us for the two nights we cancelled. I won’t book an American hotel in Japan again.

I was pretty upset with the staff and felt I’d wasted important time. The room had no information, so I had to call the front desk, and the restaurant could use written instructions or pictures because of the language problem. Room clothes and even the room slippers weren’t allowed in the restaurant, so I went up and down by mistake twice. The staff laughed at me for being foolish, and after that I didn’t feel like having breakfast the next days, so I gave up. I also got cold because there was no heater in the room. The aircon only gave cold, dry, fan air.
