For a budget stay, the apartment-style room turned out to be more spacious and comfortable than an ordinary studio, even though I'd never stayed in one before. The shower could use better water pressure and temperature control, so that's where I take off a point.

I was personally very satisfied with this one-room apartment hotel. Four stars from me.

The room was clean and roomy, and had almost everything needed apart from kitchenware. Getting in and out was straightforward, without the elevator having to stop at the lobby floor. Construction made things noisy during the day, though nights were very quiet. I only stayed briefly, but could see it working well for a longer visit too. The staff were friendly and very polite. I'd use the hotel again if work takes me to Tomari or Matsuyama.
