The room was spacious, and the staff were very friendly. It’s especially well placed if you’re taking a ferry to the Kerama Islands. There’s a kitchen and washing machine in the room, though using those appliances costs extra.

We spent one night here during a layover in Naha, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a short stop or to foreign visitors. We had no use for the small kitchen or washer, though I can see how those would help on a different kind of stay. The room’s condition made us uncomfortable: there was hair on both bed sheets, the towels looked old and torn, the TV was dusty, and several decor items looked damaged or worn. The bathroom also had nowhere to put anything. Getting help at reception was difficult. Most of the day there was nobody at the desk. We only had data on a visitor SIM, so we couldn’t call; we ended up waiting in the hall or searching the building and nearby area for staff. The doors weren’t key-controlled during daytime, so people who weren’t guests could reach every floor, which didn’t feel safe. They apparently provide just one key per room. There were two of us, and my friend arrived later, then had a hard time finding staff and getting into the room. I’d also emailed to ask if we could leave our heavy suitcase in the morning before check-in, but never got a reply. We stayed around Japan for three weeks on a budget and didn’t run into cleaning, communication, or reception problems like these elsewhere. I don’t know where all the great reviews come from.
The decor and colors in the lobby give it a tropical feel. My room itself was clean and minimalist, if small, and it made good use of the space. Having a washer/dryer and kitchenette was useful, but you need to rent cookware or bring your own if you want to use the stovetop. I couldn’t tell whether the toilet room lacked ventilation or whether its fan was controlled by a less obvious switch labeled in Japanese.
Our flight was cancelled, so we ended up spending two nights here, and it turned out to be a great value. The staff were very friendly, and we had a top-floor room with a fantastic view. It was clean, modern with a rustic feel, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom, kitchen, and shower were all great, and the location worked well. I’d definitely come back.
The receptionist was so rude that we never even got into our room. She lied to my face about parking and laughed when we asked for help. We got back in our car and switched hotels. After that awful experience, we expected the owner to be kind, but he threatened us with lawsuits. The worst customer service I’ve ever had. Stay far away.
