I booked on the hotel's official website and had no trouble, though it requires a Japanese address and phone number. You could use a friend's or your next hotel's details. This place isn't listed on the big international booking sites, but it feels like a hidden gem. The staff were very kind. I borrowed an umbrella, and when I returned it, a staff member even ran out to help put it away. There are various things you can borrow for free, including an ultrasonic glasses cleaner, though I didn't get to try that. The location is super convenient, right at the start of the shopping street and within walking distance of a monorail station. The airport is 10-15 minutes away by monorail. Our room was tiny at 18 m2, but fine for two, spotlessly clean, and had an air purifier. The shower temperature and pressure were just right, making shower time especially enjoyable. I didn't try breakfast, but heard it's a set meal rather than a buffet. Soundproofing was good. The only noise I heard was someone plugging in or unplugging something next door, and even as someone sensitive to sound, I was completely fine.

The hotel is under five minutes from the nearest monorail station, Kokusai Doori is an easy walk, and Familymart is just 20 seconds away. Weekend rates are around 8,000¥, which seems reasonable for the location, service, and facilities. Still, the stains on the duvet and a few unrepaired minor damages were disappointing. Breakfast is a set meal for 1500¥, and you need to order it by the night before.

I booked a medium-sized bedroom, but there was only room to open a carry-on suitcase. The location worked well for me: Don Quijote is a 15-minute walk, and Kokusai-dori Street takes 15-20 minutes on foot. Breakfast was included, a hearty and well-balanced Japanese meal. If you're driving, parking costs extra. I hadn't realized that at first; I only saw that parking lots were available, so keep that in mind.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and fitted with new facilities. The room is compact, but nearby convenience stores and restaurants meant I had everything I needed. Though it's within walking distance of Kokusai Street and the prefectural office, the surrounding neighborhood is quiet and residential. Asahibashi Station is close, and there's on-site parking, so getting around is easy.
