The bed and the spacious bathroom were both clean, and the location is really great. I had to sleep on the top bunk on the second night, which felt a bit too high because I'm afraid of heights. Still, I liked the place and everything else was really good.
The location is right in the center, and I really liked staying here. We had a large room, and both it and the bathroom and toilet were very clean. I only wished the pillow were bigger 🥰
The staff were kind and really helpful, and the location felt central but stayed quiet. The lobby looks nicer than the rooms and shared spaces, though those were still fairly clean and comfortable. Good value, and you might meet some nice people too.
I was surprised by how peaceful it was, even though this is right in Naha's shopping district. The other guests were quiet and considerate, maybe that's Japanese culture. The place is clean and nicely decorated, and the price is very affordable. A handy choice if you're traveling on a budget.
The dorm bed was comfortable and clean, and there was enough room for a suitcase, though 14 beds may be too many. The pillow felt a little soft. I wished the hostel had events where guests could get together. The people were nice, but their English wasn't very strong. The breakfast was good value at $700 yen for hostel residents. During happy hour, from 1600-2100, you could get 3 drinks for $1000 yen. Laundry is coin-operated, so bring detergent, and there's nowhere to hang clothes to dry. It's a very clean, low-priced hostel in a great spot at the heart of Naha. When I stayed at Lestel again, though, the network was pretty bad. My online meeting kept breaking up, and the internet got slow or dropped during peak hours.
