I won't stay here again. The price seemed reasonable and the room had furniture and appliances, but the condition was far beyond what I could accept. There was hair, dust, rubbish, and belongings left by the previous guest all over the room. I also found a dead cockroach outside the door when I arrived, and the room didn't seem properly cleaned. Water had been left in the electric kettle, and I had no idea how long it had been there. Both the washing machine and dryer were full of trash. Getting to the room was confusing too. I checked in at a different hotel, picked up a key, and then went over to this one. The neighborhood already felt a bit shady, and the hotel is right in the middle of the red-light district, with touts everywhere. Be careful if that kind of area bothers you.

I don't think there's staff based at this hotel all the time. It seems the front desk is handled by another branch nearby. The staff at the adult entertainment places around the hotel weren't unpleasant, and on my first night, when I was lost and couldn't work out which way to go, someone kindly came over and showed me. That made me happy enough to stay another night. Still, there are so many 24-hour adult entertainment businesses nearby that being there with children feels awkward. Being near Naminoue Beach was a real plus, and I liked having a washing machine and dryer. But the washing machine filter was packed with someone else's lint. The dryer clogged and stopped almost immediately, so I had to clear out a stranger's lint from that too. The room lighting was awkward. The toilet, shower, and kitchen had bright bulbs, but the bedroom side had a warm orange light that made it feel dark. At bedtime the lighting was too bright, but switching it off left the room too dark, so I kept the toilet and shower lights on. I couldn't get it comfortably bright or dark. A small gap in the curtain above my head let in light and woke me partway through the morning before I wanted to get up. The hall and most of the room were clean, but there was a used tissue wedged between the fridge and sink and cobwebs nearby. I ignored those. There was also some obvious black powder scattered around the white microwave on top of the white fridge. I ignored that too.

It's affordable, and having a washer and dryer is handy. Naminoue Shrine is nearby too. The number of adult entertainment places around the hotel is a bit of an issue, though.
