The bed and room were comfortable, and the lounge is beautiful. We got there before check-in and waited in the lounge for a while. When a staff member noticed, she let us into our room early so we could rest. That was especially kind after we'd slept badly the night before in a tiny bed at another hotel.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the runny eggs and taco mix, along with the spam. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards and really comfortable. The main downside was the room Wi-Fi, which was painfully slow for anything beyond email, so don't count on watching Netflix at decent quality. The hotel is a couple of minutes from the main street and a short taxi ride from the airport. It's about halfway between two monorail stops, around a 10-minute walk from each, and Shurijio castle is just under 30 minutes away along the line. Getting there means walking through the red-light district, but it's pretty tame by Western standards.

The staff are welcoming, and there's a good supply of free drinks on the first floor all day. Even though there are lots of nightclubs nearby, the hotel itself is peaceful. It's in the city center, close to the monorail and about a 10-minute walk from Kokusai-dori's food and shopping.

I booked at the last minute and found this three-star hotel pretty nice. The room was spacious and clean, and the buffet breakfast was decent for Japan. It's handy for Tamori ferry port, a ¥600 taxi ride away. There's also a good Yakiniku place nearby called Roins.
