Sunset Hills Inn Naha

It’s more like a one-bedroom apartment than a hotel, with a kitchen, dining space, and fridge. The room wasn’t especially clean, and there isn’t much for sightseeing nearby. Kokusai Street takes about 30 minutes to reach, so the location felt inconvenient. Since cancellations aren’t accepted, I’ll stay this time, but I wouldn’t come back. For longer stays, towels and other supplies are available to pick up on the first floor. Just be aware that they don’t provide bathroom, bed, or cleaning service, as part of their environmental effort.

You can cook in the room, and there’s an International Steakhouse downstairs for meals any time of day. The hotel sits on a hill, with ocean views from the upper floors. Rakuchi market, Ryubo department store, a 100-yen shop, and a Coop supermarket in the new city center are easy to walk to. Okimyu supermarket is a short drive away, and the main road is quick to reach by car. A nice mix of independence and convenience. Great hotel!!

The mattress was so thin I got tired, lol, but the place itself was clean. I could smoke out on the balcony, and the front desk staff were very polite. I was really satisfied with them.

This feels set up for longer stays more than a regular hotel. The rooms have a Japanese-style space and a separate bedroom, plus a bathtub. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are supplied, along with toothbrushes, towels, a hair dryer, slippers, razor, and hairbrush. There’s no washing machine in the room, but a coin laundry is on the first floor. The nearest bus stop and convenience store are each about a five-minute walk away. The front desk stays open until 10 p.m.
