The area was so peaceful, and the stay felt like being welcomed into a family home. Marylin and Kanji were kind, down-to-earth, attentive hosts who clearly put in extra effort to make guests feel looked after. As a first-time skier, I appreciated their honest warning that skiing could be a “love-hate relationship.” Kanji was encouraging and genuinely excited that I wanted to keep trying, even after all my falls. My fiancée and I had a great two-night stay, and it was so memorable we wanted to leave a review. Thanks to you both for everything! :D From the couple who loved Genghis Khan BBQ ✌🏻

The daily breakfast and service were second to none, and the setting made for such a peaceful break from busy Tokyo. Shooting Star is only a short drive from the Furano ski resort, with wide mountain and farmland views. We could see Mt. Asahidake, Hokkaido’s tallest peak, right from our bedroom window. What a treat. I’d highly recommend this bed and breakfast in the Furano area.

We’d come back in a heartbeat if we get the chance. Marylin and Kanji were such lovely hosts, always happy to chat, and breakfast each morning was great. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful decor. Their cozy B&B is a lovely place to rest and take in the fields and mountains around Furano.

Kanji and Marilyn were wonderful, and breakfast was delicious each day. The BnB is small, with comfortable rooms and lovely views across the fields toward Daisetsuzan Nat’l Park. I’d stay again without hesitation.

We came across this place on Google Maps, and it turned out to be a gem. The hosts were really hospitable, and the rooms were clean and well looked after. Breakfast was filling and tasted great on both mornings. The winter views were especially lovely. Thanks for having us!
