Ryouji and his girlfriend were lovely and very helpful, and the place was quite clean. We visited in summer 2018 for a few days. The building and room weren't new, the stairs were narrow and steep, and it wasn't cheap, though we understood that as typical for Japan. We joined Ryouji's guided tour, which was gorgeous. He also took us to a local food booth where people served noodles through a bamboo pipe with running water. That was a lot of fun, and a great family memory. Thanks, Ryouji!

Clean, roomy, and a good choice for backpackers. The host and staff were nice. Thanks so much, Ryouji, and keep up the good work.
