The complimentary rides to and from the ski lift made getting around easy. Breakfast was great, especially the homemade bread, and we also enjoyed the chicken and burdock pasta for dinner. Yu and Sayuri were wonderful hosts, and the two cute, well-behaved dogs made the stay special. They sleep on a completely different level, so it was quiet and comfortable. The rooms were newly renovated in late 2023 and felt fresh. A lovely, welcoming family-run place.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the people were nice. Still, we won’t be back. A dog was yapping in the room directly across from us and woke us several times. The old beds were far too hard, and I could feel the springs against my side. Breakfast was miserable too. I asked for well-done eggs, but they came runny. Pets being allowed and an extremely hard bed didn’t make for a good night’s sleep, which is the main thing you want from a place to sleep.

The food was so good, and you could tell it was made with real care and skill. This quaint family-run pension has a lot of heart and feels very sincere. And the two golden retrievers are super cute.

The family running this place are lovely, and the place was very clean. We had a wonderful view too. The food was amazing, especially the bread and the selection of vegetables.
