The room was okay, and the car park is a long way off, so you have to take the shuttle van. The outdoor hot spring on B1 was unpleasant: the drain beside it was flooding badly and smelled strong, and it didn’t feel hygienic. Most of the food was cold or below room temperature, except the hot pot. Once it wasn’t hot, it just wasn’t good to eat. The hotel itself was great, but the food was a nightmare.

The location was amazing, the service outstanding, and both dinner and breakfast were very good. I’d give it three stars because the whole hotel seemed dirty. There were marks on the walls and moquette, leaks in some areas, and cobwebs in lots of places. As soon as I entered the room, I could smell mold. The staff were wonderful, so I suspect they may not have enough people. The hotel is huge, with many unused areas, which must make cleaning difficult, but it should still be clean.

The baths were lovely and the food was good. Rooms feel cozy and can fit big groups. There are lots of Hello Kitty souvenirs here, and they even have a Hello Kitty Onsen (bath) and cafe, which is pretty unusual.
