There wasn’t anyone at the check-in desk, but the room was clean and nice. Before arriving, I messaged to ask if I could charge my e-bike. They set up an outlet under the tentage used as a bike parking area and left a thoughtful note for me in the room. Nakashibetsu is a pretty quiet town, so this was a nice place to crash for the night. I think it might be part of a hotel chain.

There’s a large parking lot behind the building, which is handy if you’re traveling by car, and several shops nearby cover different needs. The public facilities are quite ample, with drinking water, cooking equipment, and a refrigerator. The bathroom and changing room are also spacious. Soundproofing could be better, but it was acceptable, and it seemed there was only one other guest when I arrived. This is a hostel-style unmanned hotel with a small double room. I booked through Agoda and checked in on February 1, 2026. The day before, the hotel sent the entry password by email or in an Agoda message. I used it to unlock the door when I got there. Don’t forget the password, or you won’t be able to get inside.

Restaurants nearby make this a convenient place, and it’s clean. I appreciated that they provided things like loungewear. The wired internet connection in the building was loud enough to hear from my room, which bothered me. It finally stopped at 10 p.m. I wanted to work quietly after getting back, so lowering the volume would have made the stay more comfortable.

The shared spaces are clean, but the rooms are minimal, basically just for sleeping. The location is handy, with restaurants close by. I was bothered by the air conditioner’s swing making a constant rattling sound. PS, there’s parking behind the hotel for large motorcycles too.
