At 10 pm, the hostess threatened to throw us out of the guest house over the quiet hours. We were happy to keep our voices down and talk away from the rooms, but she insisted we leave the common area completely and turned off the lights. When I calmly asked how she could make us go to our rooms, she said it was her guest house and she controlled everything, then threatened to kick us out. She left five minutes later, so she couldn't enforce these aggressive rules anyway. I was disgusted by how far she overstepped. She is a bad person and should never work in hospitality.

The owner was very friendly, and there's laundry service and a small shared kitchen. The guest house was tidy and clean, with good heating and air conditioning, comfortable beds, powerful showers, and spotless washrooms. Highly recommended!

Mica picked up our bags and was very accommodating. The accommodation was cute and clean, with a lovely room in a beautiful setting. There are a couple of places to eat in the small town, and the beds were comfy. A great starting point for our walk. Thanks, Mica.

The owner gave us a warm welcome, and the rooms all had great views. We loved the cute, clean place and its comfortable common areas. The location in Magome worked well for us, though be aware it's very close to the top of a steep hill. A perfect place to stay while hiking the Nakasendo.

The mountain facing rooms have a beautiful view, and the place is nicely designed and clean. It's only 100 mts from the Observation deck. We had a great stay!
