The live performance had a fantastical atmosphere, and it felt completely different from seeing a show indoors. Add the delicious food and Kuro-chan, the famous dog, and it’s a memory I won’t forget. I came for a Japanese drumming workshop and live performance, and the special setting surrounded by Okinawa’s nature made the whole experience unlike anywhere else. Thank you very much. I’ll come again!

The kitchen has the utensils you need, but there’s no oil, salt, soy sauce, or vinegar, so it’s best to buy pre-marinated or frozen food to cook. The three nearby supermarkets don’t have a full selection of fresh produce, and I couldn’t find Japanese beef there at all. For fresh produce, I’d go to the supermarket a little farther away. Having an entire traditional Japanese house to ourselves was wonderful. It has a kitchen, garage, garden, and BBQ area. The location is easy to find but also easy to miss. Large vehicles with more than five seats won’t fit in the garage, though two families in smaller cars can park there.

We brought our own ingredients and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including the BBQ area, fire pit, plates, and other facilities. It’s a stylish old house.
