Riad Lamp

Riad Lamp is a beautiful place to pause and recharge after a holiday full of sightseeing, driving, shopping, and whatever weather you’ve had. It’s tucked into one of the quieter parts of Okinawa, and the design is so lovely that walking in feels almost hard to believe. The Moroccan architecture and decor are done with real taste, with lots of little details to notice. There are only dive rooms, so it feels very exclusive and is definitely for adults. The main room is a lovely place to relax, with ocean views and the quiet of nature around it. Breakfast was delicious and suited both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and the wine on offer was delicious and Moroccan. The service was excellent, in the best Japanese style. If you’re arriving by car, there’s a short steep slope up to the parking area, and on the way out the front of your car might scrape the road because of the angle.

We spent a week at riad lamp and had such a special stay. After two weeks of traveling, we could finally relax in this beautiful place. Aya and Yujiro were incredibly welcoming, and the rooms and even every piece of crockery showed so much love for detail, with everything from Marocco. The food was some of the best we’ve had, and Aya made breakfast different each day. Dinner was served at tables outside by the pool, with a stunning view. We didn’t have a car, which would have helped since the hotel is in a quiet area and restaurants and cafes are too far to walk to. Yujiro was a huge help, arranging electric bicycles, calling taxis, and even making us food on the spot when all the nearby restaurants were closed. It’s a beautiful place, and the owners made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Riad Lamp. The food was full of flavor and felt chef-inspired, and breakfast with that view was a highlight. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The decor felt warm and homey, and the whole place, including our room, was kept spotless. Every detail seemed carefully chosen and added to the charm. You can see how much care and pride goes into the guest experience. A top-tier stay in Okinawa.

We ended our Okinawa trip here and had a lovely stay. The hotel has a Moroccan boutique feel, with beautiful design details that make it easy to relax in this quieter, more meditative part of Okinawa. I could easily spend a whole day in the peaceful public area, looking out at the sea. It’s also close to spiritual sites, galleries, and museums. Breakfast catered for vegetarians, and I think dinner could too, though dinner needs to be booked ahead. We booked at the last minute. Thank you for a lovely final stay.
