A lovely guesthouse with the basics for a relaxing stay on Naoshima. Breakfast is toast and bananas, the beds are comfy, and there’s a warm shower to come back to at the end of the day. I’d happily stay again.

The hostess is fluent in English and so warm and thoughtful. She was getting breakfast ready and checking on everything the night before. You can tell how much care she puts into this place. Highly recommended!

The location on Naoshima makes it easy to get around by bike or bus, and walking is an option too. Yado Seven Beach is a classic Japanese guesthouse with tatami mats, futons, and shared bathrooms, all kept super clean. I also loved the DIY toast breakfast. The hostess deserves a special mention: when I lost my mouthguard, she was out there with me at 10pm, digging through the trash to look for it. That’s an incredible level of kindness. I stayed this spring and will absolutely come back next time I’m on Naoshima.

It was a good fit for me: friendly, warm, clean, affordable, and well located near the ferry. There’s good coffee nearby and the amazing "I ❤️Yu". The shower is downstairs, while the toilet is on the same floor. It isn’t a luxury place, but for the price it was kind, clean, and comfortable enough.
