The host was kind, helpful, and quick to respond. This traditional Japanese house gave our family of five adults a wonderful memory of our visit to Mt Fuji. We stayed three days and two nights and found it clean and comfortable, with comfortable futon bedding that gave us all a good night's sleep. Some of the flooring is tatami covered with woven rush, and some is wood. Every room has air conditioning, a ventilator, and heaters, so you can adjust them to the weather. We visited in June, when it was 16 to 21 degrees Celsius. The first night we used the air conditioning and ventilator, but it got too cold, so we switched the air conditioning off during the night. On the second night, we used only the ventilator, which felt just right.

The house was so spacious, with two floors, and one night didn't feel like enough. There are two bathrooms downstairs, a fully equipped kitchen, and a water dispenser that provides hot water any time. The rooms were clean, tidy, and very comfortable. I hope I get the chance to visit again.

The children's room was a lovely extra, and Gorohachi Izakaya nearby was delicious! ☺️ The place has the everyday basics plus an oven, microwave, dishes, dish soap, and a washing machine. With two bathrooms and toilets, it really felt like home. The heater gets wonderfully warm. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

We'd happily come back. It was quiet and very clean, with plenty of room for a family or a larger group, including older relatives. The living room is spacious, has several heaters, and could double as another bedroom. There's Wi-Fi, though no TV. The Japanese-style house has several bedrooms, futons supplied by the owner, two bathrooms, and separate toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped, with the cooking area clearly set apart. It's also near the Kawaguchiko bus stop.
