Dot Glamping 富士山

We had cabin 1 for 3 days and 2 nights. It was relaxing and well maintained, with a great view of Mount Fuji. There's free parking, and they provide BBQ gear and eating utensils, though you'll need to bring your own food. It's a bit far from the main road if you're not driving.

The place and its facilities were fantastic, and the food was great. We could make our own BBQ. I'd definitely recommend it and come back.

We had a really relaxing, intimate stay at Dot Glamping. With four people, the cabin can feel cramped, but that's part of glamping. The staff we met were very friendly and shared useful tips on places to visit. If you get up early, you might catch the sky turning purple and red around sunrise. The site has a lovely view of Mt. Fuji and a small sauna open from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Our cabin had 2 double-size bunk beds, a couch area, bathroom and shower, mini-fridge, projector, outdoor barbecue grill, hammock, and board games. They also provide a basic BBQ set and incense to keep mosquitoes away, so packing is easier. If you want a nature getaway without bringing lots of camping equipment, Dot Glamping could be a good fit. I'd prep by washing and cutting the food ahead of time, since the bathroom sink is the only place for washing vegetables and dishes. Bring paper towels and wet wipes, too, because BBQ gets messy. A grill brush and aluminum foil could help if you're cooking lots of meat or saucy food. Provided barbecue tools: skewers, cups, tongs, grill, wooden plates, knife, cutting board, and utensils. Suggested things to bring: paper towels, wet wipes, oil brush, grill brush, aluminum foil, sunscreen, and a swimsuit for glamorous pictures in or outside the sauna. Nearby places to visit: Oishi Park, Iyashinosato Ancient Japanese Village.

The atmosphere was nice, and I was very happy with my stay. The location was great, but I had booked a BBQ night and somehow the staff hadn't prepared it for me.
