Comfy Stay Sarusawaike

I stayed here on my own and found the room comfortable, with a nice place to unwind at the end of the day. It’s a cute little spot near Nara’s main sightseeing areas, and the price won’t break the bank. The lobby was cozy and clean, with free toiletries, water and tea. It isn’t staffed, but it was easy to contact someone when I needed help, and most things you might need are already provided. I’d recommend it for solo travelers looking for a comfortable, well located stay. If I’m back in Nara, I’ll definitely return.

I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Nara. The rooms were clean and the location was great. We had a little trouble with the room locks, but the staff were kind and quick to respond by email. The common area has manga, board games, and complimentary coffee, tea, water, juice and cookies. Hair dryers and straighteners are there to use too.

There’s a lot included in the price, like drinks and hairdryers, and the location makes it easy to walk to nearby places. Staff aren’t on site, but they reply quickly through the bookings.com chat. The main drawback for me was the thin walls and poor soundproofing.

Our tatami room with futons was small and simple, but really cozy, just as the name suggests. The hotel was spotless and clearly well cared for. It was quiet the whole time, and the location was great. Loved staying here!
