We came back to this inn after 20 years. I used to visit every year with my family as a child and remembered it as a great place. My husband and I recently went to Nasu and decided to stay again. It was just as lovely as I remembered. This year is its 31st year in operation, and the rooms and interior were spotless. The plumbing fixtures had also been replaced with newer ones, so they’ve kept the good parts while updating things. The food had plenty of variety and was carefully made. You could taste the care and warmth in the dishes, and everything was delicious. We were very happy with the hospitality and meals. Thank you so much.

We stayed in September 2025 as a family of four, with children aged 2 and 5. The price seemed reasonable, the reviews were good, and after staying in hotels a lot recently, we decided to try this pension. The kids kept talking about the bread-making activity after dinner all the way home. It made a lovely memory for them, lol. The food was the best part for us. Both dinner and breakfast were huge, and so delicious and carefully prepared that we felt bad about not finishing. The wife’s service, the thorough cleaning, and the facilities were all excellent. The couple’s hospitality was clear, and we felt comfortable and safe throughout. I wish I’d been able to meet the husband too. I’m writing to say thank you. We were very satisfied and hope to stay again when we’re in Nasu.

We were very satisfied and will definitely come back. Our family of four stayed here on a trip to Nasu, and the service felt comfortable, with staff keeping a good distance. The owner clearly takes good care of the building, which isn’t new but is well maintained throughout the rooms, hallways, and bathrooms. The food was homemade and thoughtfully prepared. We chose the steak dinner plan and Japanese breakfast, though a Western breakfast is also available. Everything tasted great, and we left very full. The homemade natto and tofu at breakfast were especially good. Our child is allergic to eggs, milk, nuts, and buckwheat, so we really appreciated the accommodations. He has asthma, but perhaps because of the cleaning, he didn’t cough, which is unusual for him. The bill for a fever of 12,480 yen for adults and 7,000 yen for elementary school students.

The steak was tender and delicious, so I was glad we chose that meal plan. We stayed as a family of three with our one-year-old son, and the staff were always smiling and helpful, though the place felt a little tense, perhaps because it was full. Our Japanese-style room seemed thoughtfully set up for children. There wasn’t furniture they could easily touch, and the TV and outlets were secured to their stands. The refrigerator was large too, which helped since we brought our own meals. The kids’ room had a range of toys, and seemed suitable for children of different ages. The food was good. Keep in mind that baby food and drinks aren’t allowed during meals, so make sure your child eats in the room beforehand.
