This is a very quiet spot in the Heiwago villa area, about eight minutes from Minamigaoka Ranch and just under ten from Penny Lane. Getting to the place is easiest with a rental car from Nasu-Shiobara Station or somewhere else, and SANU may offer a discount. The roads around the villas are in rough shape, so in winter I'd avoid low cars or narrow-tire kei cars. Even with standard tires, snow means there's an 80% chance of trouble.

The kitchen is roomy and easy to use, and the place itself is quiet, which made for a nice change from everyday life. Finding the turnoff from the main road takes a little effort, but it's a great place to stay.

I stayed here over New Year's. Being far from both the station and the ski resort was inconvenient, but the villa is tucked away in a quiet natural setting, and I could really enjoy being surrounded by nature.

Even with snow still lying around the grounds, it felt like a place where the noise of the city just faded away. The villa is deep in the Nasu area, and having a sauna in the garden was great for warming up after being out in the cold.
