For this price range, I’d give it three stars. If I expected quality for around $100, it would be a one-star stay. The facilities and amenities are moderately old, and the wifi disconnects often. I stayed with four others in separate rooms, and we all had the same complaint. Breakfast is only bread, though there are amusingly many kinds. There are no international TV channels. The price is really the only thing that makes it worthwhile.

The staff were very friendly and polite, and the place was comfortable. The location wasn’t great, though. There’s not much around apart from aeon shopping mall, so I’m giving it four stars.

The room was cozy and nice, though the nearest station is about a 20 to 30 minute walk away.

The view was good, and everyone was kind. Most of them could only speak Japanese, but that was good enough for me.

The streets around the hotel get dark at night. The hotel itself is rather old and due for a makeover.
