For a fair price, you're right in the old town by Obi castle, so the castle is very close and easy to reach. There's also a bus stop right at the door if you want to head into the city. My room was warm and cozy, and the bed was the most comfortable I've found in budget stays. The shared kitchen has what you need to cook or heat food and water, and the staff were really kind. If you don't speak Japanese, there may be a bit of a language barrier since the staff aren't fluent in English.

The staff were kind and nice, and the beds and room were clean and comfortable. A great stay in the little town of Kyoto OBI, or for a surfing trip.

I had a quiet night's rest since it wasn't too busy during my stay. The hostel feels warm and cosy, with all the basics, and the showers were clean and modern with plenty of hot water after a cold day out. The kitchen has lots of tools for making a meal or trying something from the area. It's a lovely spot in Obi Town, right next door to the Hattori Botanical Laboratory, which was a cool visit. I'd happily stay again and recommend it. Thank you!

The location is great, just a short distance from the castle ruins, a supermarket, and several restaurants. It's a nice place, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The receptionist doesn't speak English, but was exceptionally helpful. The check-in forms and all the signage are in both Japanese and English. It's a well-equipped hostel with small but neat rooms.
