Himakajima Isuzukan

A really good experience!

We came to Nagano Prefecture to celebrate my father's 88th birthday. From the time we booked, the staff were kind and listened to our requests. They even prepared a red chanchanko. We were very pleased with the food, and dinner with my father, my mother, my wife, our three grandchildren and me flew by. My father was delighted too. Thanks to everyone at Isuzukan.

I wanted to treat myself, so I booked the "Seafood Upgrade Plan" room with a private bath. The building had recently been renovated and was very clean, with a lovely interior. Our room closet was stiff and hard to open, and I would have liked an outlet near the bed's head, so I took off a star for those things. The food was absolutely delicious, and the dishes just kept coming. We had assorted seafood sashimi, spiny lobster that was still moving, octopus shabu-shabu and boiled octopus. The staff who prepared it all were kind and attentive, which made the meal a real pleasure. The place was easy to find and very close to the ferry terminal. I came with friends this time and would like to bring my family next time. Thank you so much! 🐙

The Japanese-style room was beautiful, and the large public bath had a wonderful atmosphere. The food was all surprisingly lukewarm, including rice that was almost at room temperature. The miso soup was delicious.
