The location worked really well for train travel, and Dotonbori is close by. The service was very good, and the rooms were nice, with large comfortable beds, a bathroom stocked with amenities, and a projector that was a fun touch. Staff also helped us ship our luggage to Tokyo. A few things could be better. There was an unpleasant smell lingering around the escalator, entrances, and lounge. The champagne theme felt overdone, to the point where the room seemed like paid marketing space. Some marks on the white floors were noticeable against the all-white interiors, so they didn’t look very clean.

We especially enjoyed the omakase dinner at the hotel restaurant. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, with incredible flavors. The staff were welcoming and professional throughout our stay, and the champagne options they provided were a nice bonus. Cuvée J2 Hotel exceeded our expectations. The stylish, well-equipped rooms were a relaxing place to return to after exploring Osaka. We’d definitely come back.

The staff were polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful, and the room was amazing. That constant tub was fantastic. Compared with Japanese hotels that can be little more than a room and a bed, staying here felt like real luxury, almost like entering a private club. It’s a touch of class. I’ll stay again on my next Osaka trip.
