Hotel Route Inn Nihonmatsu -Route 4-

We picked this place for the lantern festival, and the location worked out great. The room was fantastic, and service at the desk and during breakfast was good. Tourists should know the onsen doesn't allow tattoos, but they sell inexpensive patches to cover them.

The bathhouse even shows on the TV how busy it is, and whether the laundry is free. None of the other hotels we stayed at had that. The breakfast buffet was really good, and the staff were great. Nobody said anything about my tattoos at the bath. Our room was a little small, but the couch and table made for a great setup, better than some other places we stayed on the trip. We were there just one night. It was a 20-minute walk to the station, but we took the bus the next day, so it wasn't bad. Walking got us exploring town, including a second-hand store, a cute local restaurant near the station, and even a Shrine. Glad we stayed here!

We've stayed here twice now, and both times have been really good. The place is new and well equipped, with handy things like laundry, microwaves, and drink machines. The staff are helpful and professional, and parking is free for customers. Hope we can come back. Thank you.

The rest of the stay was delightful, and the staff were amazing, really helpful. The bed was rock hard, though, and that's the reason this would otherwise be a five-star review. A friend told me afterward there might have been extra foamies to put on top, but I honestly don't know where they would have been kept since there wasn't much storage in our room.
