I've stayed at several similar budget hotels in Japan, and this is one of the best for the price. The room is a little small, but just right for one person, or you can book a twin room. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was amazing, and I liked the relaxation area and public bath and sauna. Staff were very friendly. It's not perfect, but it's great value.

It's affordable and close to Niigata station and Maccas, and the staff are nice. The basics are covered, which gets it three stars from me. The room didn't look very clean, though, and the bathroom smelled really bad.

You can walk to the train station, and the staff were helpful. My room was clean but quite small. As for the breakfast buffet, I've had better.

The lobby lady gave superb service, and the price is so cheap that I didn't feel like complaining. Still, wallpaper was peeling, and the spots you don't usually see were dirty and moldy. The big bath also has rotating time slots.

It's close enough to walk to the station, and the low price works for a quick trip. The room was small but adequate. It did feel old, though, and could've been cleaner.
