Breakfast felt like an odd combination of foods to me as someone from Europe. The room was plain but clean, and the receptionists were kind and helpful.

I stayed for three nights and really liked the spacious, fully equipped bedroom and bathroom. The buffet breakfast was excellent and included, the Wi-Fi was very fast, and the staff were so friendly. The hotel is just two minutes from Niihama station and the museum.

The rooms on the upper floors have a great view, and the hot water came quickly and was drinkable. The staff were very friendly. This was the first Toyoko Inn where I've stayed that measured my temperature and asked about how I was feeling and where I'd been beforehand. I wish more hotels in this chain met that standard.

If you're vegetarian, this probably isn't the place for you. Most of the food is frozen, though the food staff were friendly. I'd have been completely satisfied if I could try some of their homemade dishes.

The hotel was clean and nice, and there's parking for guests. Breakfast was the weak point, so don't count on it.
