Hotel Kosho - Umeyashiki Annex

The shuttle was really handy, and they were prompt when we used it to get to a restaurant. The onsen was another highlight, especially the outdoor pool beneath a big tree, which gave it a lovely natural feel. There’s an indoor pool too. The location is close to the main attraction, the staff were friendly and keen to help, and I met two non-Japanese staff members, one Taiwanese and one Nepali, who both spoke English. Our room was much larger than I expected. It’s a little worn, though everything was clean, and towels, a toothbrush kit, and yukata for the onsen were provided. The balcony facing the forest looked like it had been overlooked and could use a bit of cleaning. Still, good value for money.
