The owners were very welcoming and even introduced us to some new music. Staying in our own Japanese country cottage was a wonderful experience, and having the train station nearby made getting around convenient. We stayed several years ago and loved it.

Our Japanese-style cabin was lovely, and we spent three nights there. The house was great, with a modern toilet and washroom, free WiFi, and the option to cook our own meals.

They’ve reopened after being closed for a while, and I really recommend the place. It’s around a 30-minute drive to Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The bamboo cup making workshop was fun, and the barbecues are always a good time. Thank you!

I’m a fan of the owner, Tomoko. She’s very talkative, and the place is right by the station, so it’s a good pick if you’re traveling by train. There are rice fields just across the way, and it feels peaceful. When I asked, they set up a fun barbecue with firewood. I’ve revisited and it was wonderful again, right after the rice harvest. They’re gradually taking in customers, so please inquire. October 2024.
