Jun Setsu made our stay unforgettable. He went far beyond what was expected and gave us service that beat a 5-star hotel or resort. He even arranged carefully to take us to an onsen every evening, and offered helpful advice on how things work. There’s a cute little bath and a washing machine, and Jun makes an amazing breakfast. On our second morning, he noticed we liked a particular brand of yogurt and got it for us instead of the usual one he’d served on the first morning. He also helped another guest who was injured and couldn’t communicate well with the hospital. I’d expected an ordinary lodge where you just sleep after a long day skiing. We got so much more. Five stars! 👍

You can relax and have your own time here. It’s mostly self-service, so it may not suit people who expect staff service. The price seemed really cheap compared with Niseko, about what you’d pay in other areas. Maybe that was because it was a warm winter weekday in February, or maybe because of Koro. I was surprised to spot five stink bugs around at this time of year.

We stayed two nights in July. Our family room on the third floor was clean, and we could use it without worrying about anyone else. We also had a barbecue dinner in the garden.

The cute log cabin was very comfortable inside, and the price was quite reasonable. We stayed two nights, November 10th and 12th. In the morning, we were lucky enough to see a sea of clouds. 👍

It’s unusual to find someone here who speaks Chinese, English, and Japanese fluently. The owner was very friendly and helpful, served breakfast, and even drove us to the ski resort or station. Highly recommended!
