The reception man was very gentle, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are small, but good. It's a business hotel, and the onsen is for men only.

When severe weather unexpectedly cancelled our flights, Miss Yoshida and her staff arranged taxis and extended our stay smoothly, without hesitation. Their help turned a stressful situation into a warm memory. We were greeted and farewelled by the friendly manager, and throughout the stay the team treated us with real care. Miss Yoshida and the staff even gave us great tips for local coffee and food spots. We're so grateful to them.

Manager Yoshida-san made our stay at Hotel Lexton Tanegashima especially memorable. She speaks excellent English and gave us great restaurant and coffee recommendations that added a lot to our holiday. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, too. There's a shuttle bus into town if you don't have a hire car, and plenty of free parking. I would still recommend renting a car to get around the island more easily. Breakfast is arranged through the joyful restaurant chain and had good Western options, which we appreciated as international travellers. Lunch and dinner are available as well. A comfortable stay with smooth, helpful service.

It's an average business hotel, clean and quiet, though the design isn't especially joyful. The shuttle into the city centre is convenient, and breakfast was great.
