We were taken to the sightseeing boat dock in the morning, and there’s a shuttle service too. Just let them know your arrival time by the previous day. Dinner included seasonal rock oysters. All the rooms face the ocean. There’s a large public bath as well as the bathroom in each room. It’s open until 10 pm, with no morning service. The rooms have a TV, Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, and a hairdryer.
I stayed two nights on a breakfast-only plan. The lobby and rooms had lovely views and a resort-like feel. My room had been renovated the year I visited, so it was clean and roomy, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and there was something like an air purifier too. The shower had good pressure, but having it combined with the sink was a little inconvenient. I couldn’t find hand soap, so I used my own, though maybe the body soap was meant for that. Breakfast was simple but filling. There was a strong fragrance in the entrance and room, which could bother people sensitive to smells. I had a pleasant stay.
The view was lovely, and having Wi-Fi in the room made things really convenient.
The food was fantastic, and I’d like to come back. The location and view were great, and the rooms were clean. It seems to have been renovated since the website photos were taken, because it looked different and much nicer. The room TV had Netflix and YouTube, and Wi-Fi was available too.
Once inside, I found someone at the front desk, and my uneasiness eased when I saw that the room had been renovated and had a great view. From outside, though, I wasn’t sure the hotel was open: its name was faded and weeds had grown over it, so I went in cautiously. The food was average, and breakfast was simple.
