Dinner was wonderful, with lots of lobster prepared in several different styles. The hotel facilities are plain and simple, and there’s no one on hand for service late at night.

Dinner was superb, and the prices were very reasonable. The room was large with an ideal western-style bed, and the semi-natural onsen was a nice bonus. Very nice indeed.

We got lost and went too far before reaching Sazareishi Takashima on the first day of our family trip to Miyazaki and Kumamoto. It was my first time in Miyazaki, and I was so excited. The place was peaceful and quiet by the sea. Before dinner, we walked along the ocean and listened to the waves to build up an appetite. Then dinner arrived, and wow, it was packed with seafood! There were so many kinds of sashimi, plump and firm, and my whole family said, “Wow, it’s delicious!!” The other dishes were tasty too, and we were really happy with the meal. We could enjoy the bath at our leisure since its use was time-limited. A kind-looking woman showed us around. I wonder if it’s family-run? Takashima had such a calm, quiet atmosphere. The sea, the peaceful setting, and the incredibly delicious food made wonderful memories of my first trip to Miyazaki. I’d love to stay again if I get the chance! (✿^‿^)
