Wakagiri

The food was simple, tasty, and served efficiently. I tried the soba, udon, and sushi and enjoyed them all. You can place an order in English on a tablet if you don't speak Japanese. It's a popular spot, so arrive when they open or expect a wait. This review is for the restaurant.

We liked it enough to come back for dinner after having lunch here. The sushi was excellent, and ordering on the iPad was easy. There's a good range for vegetarians, with lovely fresh ingredients. They also keep hot and cold tea coming without limit, and it's a plus that they're open in the off season.

Restaurant review only. We showed up on Saturday at 5:30 without booking and waited about 20 minutes. After we got a table, the food came quickly, tasted great, and looked lovely. Prices seemed very fair, and the staff were kind and helpful. A really nice dinner.

We ate here a few years ago and thought it was okay, but our dinner visit yesterday was unpleasant. The place was full, and they said the wait would be about an hour. We agreed, then were told to wait outside even though there seemed to be plenty of room inside, at least for one adult with a baby. The man behind the cashier was very rude. It didn't feel kid-friendly at all.
