The inn is extremely close to the ski resort, less than a three-minute walk to the ticket office, and the owner was attentive and kind throughout my two-night stay at the end of 2024. I'd happily stay again. My room had a toilet but no private bathroom. The sink water was drinkable, and there was a table with two chairs, an electric kettle, teacups, and free green tea. No TV, but Wi-Fi worked, so I relaxed with YouTube and movies on my iPad. The shared bath has two showers and a tub big enough for two adults. You tell the owner when you want to use it and when you're done; the door locks while occupied, so it feels private. If someone's in there, you put your room number on the whiteboard, and the owner calls when it's free. I found that convenient since I didn't have to keep checking. Dinner was a tasty home-style Western course with an appetizer, soup, fish, meat and rice, and dessert. Wine, sparkling wine, and Premium Malt's beer were available. Breakfast was bread, salad, ham, and scrambled eggs. There's a small hallway fridge where you can buy bottled water, sports drinks, and canned beer any time. Smoking isn't allowed inside, though there's an ashtray by the entrance. Guests can't bring their own alcohol and have to buy it at the guesthouse. Thank you very much 😊

The room was clean and pleasant, but the insects were a nightmare for me. They kept slipping through the screen door. There was no air conditioning, so the room was comfortable with the screen door open, but bugs kept flying around. I killed about 60 by swatting them. Even after borrowing screen-door insect spray to reduce the light coming through and keep them away, more kept appearing. Once most seemed gone and I turned off the lights, several hit my phone screen in the dark, so I had to kill them and wipe it each time. The person staying with me said bugs had hit their face while they were using their phone too. I know it's a mountain inn, but I wish they'd done a little more about it. I came expecting good food and wine because the inn promotes both. The wine was reasonably priced, but the selection was limited and I didn't find any surprisingly good hidden gems. The food wasn't bad, and the presentation looked stylish, but the taste and cooking felt like home cooking, which was disappointing given the claims. It might be fine if you're there to ski, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're expecting great wine and food.

The food was a full French course, though served in a casual style, and the wine list had red, white, and sparkling options from affordable to quite expensive. The place is close to the slopes, so it's handy for skiing or snowboarding. I stayed by myself and the owner was friendly. I had no problems, and the Wi-Fi worked well. I just wish there'd been a small TV in the room.

We went with our children in early autumn and found the place stylish and beautiful inside and out. The rooms aren't big, but the lofts were a huge hit with the kids, and there was enough room for our family of five to be comfortable. It's right in front of the ski slopes, so it must be very convenient during ski season. We also had a lovely relaxing stay in the off-season. Highly recommend it, and it could be a good stop for a motorcycle tour too.

The best part was the family bath. Along with the unit bath in my room, there was a shared bath that we could use privately, and it was disinfected after each use. The owner also suggested some hiking trails, which is why I'm adding another star. I stayed alone for one night with dinner. There was no view, and the room was so narrow, with just a corridor between the beds, that two people would probably feel cramped. I was glad there wasn't a TV, but would've liked a refrigerator. Tea bags were provided, though I would've preferred instant coffee. Not a huge deal. The food tasted average. It was a full course, but felt like home-cooked dinner brought out in separate stages. You can get more rice and use the self-service coffee machine. It might suit people who don't enjoy special-occasion meals or have small appetites.
