Baden Akebi

We stayed here as a couple while visiting our families. The staff were nice, parking was free, and both breakfast and coffee were good. Breakfast was the set meal in the photo, plus miso soup, rice, and salad, all available for refills. I forgot to take a picture of our room. When we visit home, staying at my parents' house as a couple can be difficult because it puts various burdens on them. Having a place like this is a big help.

It's a standard business hotel, and I had no complaints about the room. Mine was on the fifth floor, with a nice view. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from Nyuzen Station. Arriving at the station at night, I found there weren't any convenience stores nearby, which made it hard to get food. There seem to be a few restaurants around, but if you plan to eat at the hotel, buy something beforehand.

I hadn't included breakfast because of my work schedule, though I've heard it's quite good. The staff were very helpful, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There's even a free drum-type washing machine. I'd been staying at a hotel in Itoigawa until yesterday and wish I'd picked the Mark Hotel from the start. I've stayed in different hotels for over 200 days this year, and this one is really good. I'm a little worried that recommending it will make it hard to book, but I definitely would recommend it. This is the first time I've written such a detailed review.

They do a beautiful job cleaning every day. It feels good.
