The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo

Hakim from the concierge team made our stay even better. He was kind, professional, and really helpful with recommendations and arrangements. The hotel itself was beautiful and well cared for, with comfortable rooms and stunning city views. Everything felt calm and elegant. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return.

Tokyo's views were breathtaking, and the staff kept finding ways to make the stay memorable. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the service was impeccable. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, easily one of the finest hotels we've stayed in. Highly recommend.

The location worked for us, though it may not suit everyone. It's a bit removed from Ginza and some nightlife, which we knew beforehand, and taxis and Ubers were easy to find. The city views in every direction, even Mount Fuji, were pretty epic. Breakfast was included and had some really good healthy options. Staff were amazing, kind, and helpful. Our room was large and very nice, if a little outdated, and the main bar and restaurant area was a lot of fun.

We spent three nights here after visiting the Tohoku region, ending a special Japan trip that celebrated my parents' 60th birthdays. It was such a memorable stay, and Roppongi Station just below Tokyo Midtown made getting around easy. Our Skyline View room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great view of Tokyo and a bed we slept wonderfully in after long days out. The thoughtful touches were what made it feel personal. Before we arrived, the reservations team patiently answered my questions, and Yuriko and the whole team were so welcoming. Julia and Terumi from the loyalty team also kept in touch and helped make sure things went smoothly. When we arrived, Taiki Kanai checked us in with real attention to detail. The next day he surprised my parents with a birthday gift and a handwritten card in our language. It meant a lot to them. We ordered breakfast and dinner through room service several times. The food was consistently excellent, and Saki, who took our orders by phone, was lovely and remembered what we liked. Cindy served us a few times too. On our first night, after hearing about the birthdays, she came back with strawberries and a handwritten card. My parents were so happy. From the warm welcome when we stepped out of the taxi to all the care during our stay, the entire team made the experience comfortable and seamless. Thank you to everyone at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, including those we haven't named. We'll remember this trip for a lifetime.
